Winter fun (for Grandma)

Lots of fun activities from Winter 2009.

Easter (4/12/09)

We spent Easter Day at my parent's house. The kids had a great day and even the baby seemed to enjoy the eggs and fun.

M and my mom were matching in pink (unplanned). K was the big helper of the day washing potatoes for grandma.

Thanks Easter Bunny...(4/11/09)

We took the kids to an Easter event at Border's today and to see the Easter Bunny. K loved the event and made a cute basket, but did not want his picture taken with the bunny. The baby loved the bunny and was full of smiles!

New Camera (4/10/09)

These are the first couple of pictures I took with my new camera. The other one was always shutting down on me and taking slow shots so I am trying a new brand. My daughter is always willing to pose for a picture. She's such a ham. I can't imagine where she gets it!

Boys at the Park (4/09/09)

Today was a nice day so the boys and I headed out to the playground for the first time in a long time. K & his friend were so cute hanging from this climbing thing waiting for me to take a picture.

Birthday part 2 (4/8/09)

Today was K's actual birthday. We went to Applebee's for dinner and gave him his presents there. These walkie talkies were a pretty big hit with him!

Artsy Girl (4/7/09)

This is my daughter standing by one of her original creations at her school's art show. This is a weather painting. The school had the halls covered in art from all grades and open up for the night to let families walk through and see everything. It's always a nice night.

Hunting (4/6/09)

This was taken Monday at my son's Easter Egg Hunt. They had to do it inside because of the weather. He is singing a song about a hopping bunny here. The kids were so cute with their little songs!

Bowling Birthday! (4/4/09)

K had his birthday party at a local bowling alley today. He had a great time and got lots of cute gifts. The biggest hit was a new bike from Gramps & Grandma! He was thrilled and couldn't wait to ride it. It was a nice birthday celebration.

PJ Day (4/2/09)

Today was PJ day at my daughter's school. She looks forward to this all year long and was very excited!

Haircut! (3/31/09)

The baby got his first haircut today. It was much needed and Daddy did a great job. He looks even more handsome now! The top picture is the finished product. The bottom is daddy cleaning off hair after trimming the sides. Notice how the front of his hair is still long and uneven in the bottom pic!

Pancakes! (3/30/09)

M & K enjoyed some chocolate chip pancakes at lunch with Grandma Cassie yesterday following a good report from the dentist.

Boys! (Sun., 3/29/09)

Just some fun shots of the boys today. C was playing in the cabinets and having a ball pulling all the pots and pans out.

K was at a birthday party when I snapped a quick shot of him.

Glasses!

So we just found out my daughter needed glasses and here she is modeling them after picking them up this afternoon. At first she really didn't want them but I think she is kind of loving them now! I think she looks adorable.

Stories with Grandma (3/26/09)

The kids just love when Grandma comes over and tells bedtime stories instead of reading a book. Here they all are snuggled up and getting ready for bed.

Some pics of the kids all resting after a busy weekend swimming and playing in Lancaster. The kids had their own little sofabed and were quite pleased with it.

Splishin' & Splashin'

We spent Saturday at an indoor water park in Lancaster and the kids had a blast. The baby loved the water and was just crawled right in. And M & K just played in everything and bopped from pool to pool and in and out of the whirlpool. A fun time was had by all.

Masquerade!

My mom bought the kids these wooden masks and paints today and they had a blast making them. K's was actually a monkey before he slathered it in every color paint we have. M's is a pretty princess.

Fun at the Park

It was a beautiful day here and I was able to take the boys to the playground for a little bit. They both had a great time! I think the baby really enjoyed being down and crawling around on some of the equipment.
