Super Sunday

It was a very nice Sunday with everyone feeling better than we have in a long time. My husband & K are engaging in a little light saber battle and were having a really good time. I absolutely love the picture of my daughter and the baby. We went out to dinner and I took it in the restaurant. I think it's one of the best pics I've gotten of them in a long time.

Silly Saturday

My husband took the kids out for the day while I was laid up in bed on Saturday. I love this picture of my daughter at the park just swinging away. And the picture of the baby makes me smile because he has such a silly look on his face and is so clearly feeling better after almost 2 weeks of being so sick. It cracks me up!

The Eyes Have It...

Fish and Snakes and Birds...Oh MY!

Now that everyone is feeling better, the kids started begging to go out to eat. Of course they picked Old Country Buffet - nothing better after days of puking! So K is showing off his OCB balloon and Bee hat. These pictures were all taken at the Petco next to the OCB. The kids were loving the bird room. The baby was fixated on this parrot.

M is posing with a beautiful white bird named Ellen that she really liked.

It was a nice night out, especially after being cooped up in the sick house all weekend.

Feeling Better...Kind Of

Well, my 4-year-old is in the clear and seems to have gotten over his stomach flu rather quickly. Now my 7-year-old has it. The baby is not quite out of the woods, but is definately better than he's been in the past several days. He even got down and played and smiled for small periods of time throughout the day.

All Together Now...

This was taken 1st thing this morning before K started vomiting and C continued on his path of sickness. I ended up spending most of the day at the hospital with the baby for IV fluids. He had become dehydrated, but seemed to be doing a little better by the end of the night.

Meanwhile, my husband stayed home and took care of my other sickie while my daughter went on and on about how she would most likely have to stay home from school tomorrow because she is just sure she'll be throwing up by then. LOL! We shall see.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today was not the best Valentine's Day ever, but M, K & I managed to get out and enjoy ourselves a little. My husband & the baby both spent the day in bed with a stomach flu. I took the healthy kids out for lunch & to pick a treat with the Valentine money their grandparents sent. It was a pretty day so we stopped at a local farm & these goats came running down to see us. We were also ambushed by a goose!

Under the Weather

Well actually, only one of the boys is under the weather so far, but from what I hear the rest of us aren't far behind. The baby has been throwing up all day and can't even keep Pedialyte down. He looks happy in this picture though. Probably because he was being held by Daddy - his favorite person.

K had his Valentine party at school today and was very excited by all the goodies in his bag.

Wednesday

Today was a beautiful day. K and I went to playgroup and they had put a fence up to keep people off the train tracks. My son was shocked since the tracks had been opened for as long as we can remember.

M was waiting for the boys to wake up from their naps and playing with her Polly Pocket jet. She was looking forward to going out and enjoying the sunny day.

Boys & Their Toys

Just my guys today. K only wanted his picture taken if his stuffed dog could join him. C is playing with his new push toy. He played with it quite a bit and seemed to really enjoy opening & closing the doors and pulling things out of slots. It was fun to watch him figure it out.

Bowling!

I loved this picture and had so much fun bowling today that I decided to use the same picture for both of my blogs. We had a great time taking the whole family, plus aunt & uncle, out to bowl today!

Out to Dinner

These were taken at my brother's birthday dinner. The baby is sitting in Cracker Barrell rocking chair that is just his size. K is with my sister at dinner.

K made this big smile at school and modeled it for today's pic. Then M followed suit. We tried to get one with the baby but he kept trying to eat it!

I am your dentist....

My son's class took a trip to a health center today to learn about dental health. He volunteered to dress as a dentist for part of the discussion. By the end of this process he had latex gloves, the mask and goggles on. You could barely see his face at all!

Sleepy Boys

These are genuine sleeping shots. No faking today! K had a very busy day and fell asleep so quickly he didn't even have time to turn over and cover up the way he usually does.

Groundhog's Day

So my kids were up at the crack of dawn to take part in their annual tradition of going to see our local groundhog declare how many more weeks of winter we can expect. Anyone who attends the morning festivities gets a ticket for dinner at the firehall that night. This picture was taken with the giant groundhog on the way into the Spaghetti Dinner. The kids absolutely love this!

The baby & I enjoyed lunch out with my parents while the kids were in school. Here is saying goodbye to his grandparents.

Chillin'

K is playing on the internet before bed.

And the baby is in the place he spent 90% of the day - snuggled up with Daddy. C is fighting a cold and just wants to be held all the time.
